Our philosophy is to have Extensively Reared Animals as close to the Organic standard as possible, but without the organic prices, reared in a healthy traditional manner to give the best meat, both in taste and from a welfare point of view. We take great pride in the quality of our produce and that has to start with the animal itself.

Steve says: “Robie is our master butcher, he joined Barton Farm Shop at the outset and has enabled the business to grow, bringing his years of experience to establish us with our customers that include AA Rosette Restaurants, Inns and Hotels as well as many satisfied locals, who regularly pop into our bright new premises here on the farm.

The staff is ever increasing with Steve and Darren (Butchers) Sandra and Simon ( Dispatch) and not forgetting Val and Sally our very own Bakers.
